/setup walks through five steps: language and staff roles, the protection level, the log channel, a security check, and the optional extras (verification, honeypot channel, updates channel).
Nothing is written while you click through. The only exceptions are the explicit create buttons — a private log channel, a verification channel, a Verified role, a honeypot channel — which ask for confirmation and then act immediately, and which the summary lists. Finish saves everything in one configuration change, so the history shows one entry and you can undo it in one click.
If you close the wizard, /setup offers to resume at the step you reached, or to start over.
