Self-test (/setup › Details) proves the whole chain works in this server without touching anybody. It runs a built-in test link through the real matcher against a throwaway test entry that never reaches the shared threat index, asks your configuration what it would do with that finding, checks per channel whether Defendr may delete messages and time members out, decodes the bundled test QR code, and posts a sample card to every log channel you configured.
No message is deleted, no member is timed out and nothing is reported anywhere. The only thing stored is a single shadow entry marked as a self-test, which is excluded from all statistics.
The result card shows each step with a tick or a cross and tells you what to change when a step fails.
