What happens

Reports

Members and moderators report links, images, users and messages to the server's reviewers or to the Defendr team. Use /report with link: or user: (no option for a screenshot), or the message menu Report, which asks where the report goes. Every report is answered: once a reviewer decides, everyone who reported the same thing gets one direct message with the outcome and a neutral reason.

Example

/report link:https://example.com

Reviewing reports

Reports sent to this server land in the review channel as a card with Claim, Accept, Reject, Duplicate and Not valid. Only one reviewer can decide a report; a second click is answered with who handled it. Reviewers can also forward a report to the Defendr team when the server allows it. Set the review channel and the reviewer roles on the Reports & review page.

Example

/setup › Find a setting › Review channel

Report limits

Every account can send a limited number of reports per hour, with a short cooldown between two reports, and every server has a daily limit. Accounts whose reports are accepted keep their normal limits; accounts that repeatedly send reports that are not valid wait longer and can be blocked from reporting for a while.

Example

/setup › Find a setting › Reports per hour
