A short check for new members that keeps bots out.
New members get an unverified role and see one channel with a Verify panel. Passing the check gives them the verified role and removes the unverified one. It is friction for automated accounts, not proof that somebody is human — combine it with the join gate.
Set a verified role, an unverified role and a channel, then open /setup › Verification › Post panel.
Button asks for one confirmation that the rules were read. Emoji match shows five emoji and asks for one of them by name, which stops the simplest click bots. Image code shows six distorted characters to type; because a picture is a barrier for people too, every image card also offers the button check to anyone who cannot read it.
Emoji match with three tries and a 10 minute cooldown is a good default.
Defendr remembers who is still waiting. If you set a kick delay, members who still hold the unverified role after it are removed, one every two seconds, with a case and a log entry. Zero never removes anybody.
A delay of 10080 minutes removes members who did not verify within seven days.
Every action posts a card like this in your log channel.
